What it is about
You look for roundabouts, photograph them, collect points and badges and compete with others. The app is for playing and exploring, not for traffic or navigation purposes.
Staying safe
Traffic rules and your safety always come first. A photo is never more important than a safe place to stand.
- Only take photos when you are standing safely: on foot or when the car or bike has stopped.
- Never at the wheel, never while moving.
- Never on the road and never on the central island if you have to cross the road to reach it.
- Do not enter private property or closed-off areas.
- Do not put yourself or anyone else at risk. Be especially careful at night, in wet weather and in heavy traffic.
Taking part at your own risk
You play at your own risk. You decide yourself whether and where you visit and photograph a roundabout. A roundabout being in the app does not mean you can safely reach it or enter it.
Minimum age
You can play from the age of 16. Younger players need the consent of their parents or a guardian, who should also go through the safety rules with them.
Your photos and content
- You only upload photos you took yourself or have the rights to.
- No people or number plates should be recognisable in the photo. Photograph the roundabout, not people.
- No offensive, unlawful or third-party content, including in names, profile pictures or feedback.
- You allow us to show your photo and detective name in the app, as described in the privacy policy. The rights to your photo stay with you.
- Other players can report content. We may remove content and block or remove accounts if someone breaks these terms.
Play fair
Play honestly: a find only counts if you were really at the roundabout. No cheating with a fake location, other people’s or old photos, several accounts or automatic tools. Anyone who cheats loses points or their account.
Availability
We do our best to keep the app running but cannot guarantee it. The app, the roundabout data (from OpenStreetMap), maps, points and rankings are provided without warranty and may contain errors. We may change, interrupt or discontinue the app.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of the app, in particular accidents, injuries or breaches of traffic rules or of the rights of others. Liability that the law makes mandatory remains unaffected, for example in cases of intent or gross negligence.
Privacy
Which data we need and how you delete it is explained in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may change these terms, for example when the app changes. For significant changes we will ask you again in the app. The date above shows the current version.
Governing law and place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Winterthur, unless the law mandatorily provides otherwise.
